Clay Sports Ireland first shoot took place on Sunday the 11th of July with a total of 132 entries! We would like to thank all the shooters who turned up on the day at Naul Clay Shooting Grounds in numbers which well exceeded our expectations.
Entries on the day numbered 132 a mixture of birds only and prize fund entries. Over €600.00 was paid out on the day from payback to 27 shooter.
A further €400.00 was given out by the ground for a pool which was run on the day , a high gun prize was donated by the grounds and two spot prizes were given out for "FLASH CLAYS" .
We would like to thank everyone for turning up on the day, all the people who helped out in any way, the Whyte Family for hosting the event and providing endless refreshments tea, biscuits, drinks, burgers, crisps and not to mention feeding traps with clays and batteries!!
Although a soft shoot the 50/50 eluded every shooter however we had 5 shooters with 49/50 and after a shoot off with those 5 still present Shane Duffy claimed the top spot winning high gun on the day. (we all know what your handicap will be next time!!!)
We proceeded to give out 5 further class prizes AA,A,B,C and Juniors on this occasion and all the lucky winners are detailed in the results & stats section of the website.
